Jogging
Hey everyone,
I have decided that I want to start jogging when I have lost a little bit of weight. I am not quite sure if there is any particular way to go about this, but if any of you have some suggestions, I would more than welcome them!
I kind of thought that if I work up to it, it should be easier than starting straight out. So my plan is to go for a walk everyday, and as I feel my fitness level increasing, I will start to add jogging in. I will jog for as long as I can and then I will walk and recover a bit, then I will jog again, that way I figure I won’t keel over and have a heart attack! LOL. I hope that by doing this, I will slowly be able to increase the amount I jog, and eventually be able to jog the whole time. What do you all think? Do you think this is the right approach?
Anyway, I decided that I want to start jogging, because I like the sensation of it and the way it makes me feel. Even though at the moment I can’t jog for more than 10 seconds, it is still exhilarating, so I figure it will be worth it!

I do a lot of jogging and really enjoy it. Even more fun can be had with a good friend running along side. If Matt doesn’t get into it I would be happy to go for a run with you sometime

Hey Lloyd,
Sounds like a plan! It may be a while before I get to your level though, but when I do, we are on! I don’t think Matt will be able to jog because of his ankle, there is a bit too much impact on your joints when jogging, so he will probably give it a miss. But I can’t wait!
